When we were speaking at the SSCA Gam in Annapolis, Annette Baker introduced herself and told me about a fun website she was creating. Annette loves sewing. She loves upgrading Magnolia, her cruising home. Her friends commented on her creative stitchery, wondering how they could do the same on their boat. So she created a website to share information on sewing projects afloat, including where to source materials. I mentioned a short article Larry wrote about sewing up the perfect boat washing bucket, one that won’t scratch topsides, always fills with salt water quickly even when you are moving along and can be made using bits and pieces you probably already have on board. Annette’s immediate response, can I add it is a boat project?
So just click on this link www.seamlesssailor.com to see a simple winter evening’s project that will make a great gift for any of your sailing friends. (Larry makes one as a launching gift for any friend who builds their own boat.)
